(1) The application filed for passport and also other documents enclosed shall be kept safely for twelve years from the date of issuance of the passport.
(2) The Department shall dispose the passports cancelled pursuant to this Act as prescribed.
(3) The disposal procedure of the documents pursuant to sub-section (1) shall be in accordance with the prevailing laws.
